America's History of Wars - Foreign & Domestic
This is a random post (again) of America's history of the most (you got it) random wars against anything and everything, from present to past (top-down):
Unstated, but real wars:
EDIT:
- War on Germs - "cleanliness" fear of bacteria...war with the microscopic world...
- War on "Christmas" - Bill O'Reily's infamous war that has been declared by the atheist on Christians...as if tradition cannot possibly get any worse...
- Lou Dobb's "War on the Middle Class" - essentially, the Middle Class is being rooted out by both political parties...doesn't matter who you vote for boys...it is all the same guys...
- War on Energy (war for oil) [it is America's moral duty to secure energy, even if there is plenty for everyone] - "Peak Oil" sounds a lot like "Big Shit"
- War on language and sincerity [political correctness to correct "offensive" speech] - Americans have no right be offended by those bigots out there who despise our freedoms...
- War to "Save the Planet" - another greedy corporate attempt by the globalist to expand their reach to include taxing people for their, "pollution"
- War on Racism - civil rights is GOOD, but there is a point where it infringes on more essential issues of FREE SPEECH
- War on Specism - "humans are equivalent to the vermin they kill for survival" (thanks to Disney Corporation and its gang of media moguls)
- War on Chauvinism - thanks to Feminism, now men have "less" rights lest they be perceived to as sexist
- War on Freedom and Your Constitution (through the war on terror)
- Cold War (a nice way of saying a peaceful war or a warring peace)
- War on the Mind (we have to prevent crime before it happens, so, give us power or give us your Constitution)
- War on Cyberspace (there might be terrorists out there you know...)
[Future war - War against the Sky {from Arthur C Clarke's Time's Eye Trilogy}- it is not enough to be at war on earth, we need to fight against the heavens (aliens, pesky foreign species that invade America's corporate mafia's "interests")]
- War on Swine Flu (or, generally speaking, since the coming of vaccines, the war against flu and anything that might make you sick)
- War on Terror (still no end in sight - at home or abroad. War is already terrifying enough, why are we making more terror to end terror??? [logical fallacy])
- War on Drugs (still on, I assume?)
- War on Cancer (well, we gave up that one a long time ago...)
- War on "Poverty" (if war is profitable, shouldn't there be less poverty?)
- War on Crime (criminals are like a foreign, invisible enemy in our midst that we must crush with the use of militant paramilitary squads of other criminals who are better off - we don't like competition)
- World War II and World War I (two great opportunities for our Corporate American thugs to loot, rape, and strip the world clean of "Germ"ans and other vermin)
- American Civil War (that is right, we shoot each other out of "respect" over the whole "slavery" business)
- EDIT: America's Southern States right to abdicate from the Federal Government (oooopps. after one hundred year or so, we seem to have forgotten the right of every state to leave the Union, and be free from the ever more dictatorial federal government)
- American Philipine War (why should we bother living with Filipino's? White Pride World Wide)
- Mormon Conflict (we needed some target practise - those stupid Mormons over there look tasty)
- American Spanish War (Spaniards are annoying - let us bomb the shit out of them too - for fun!)
- American Mexican War (Mexicans produce good tacos, but when it comes the LAND, we own it because it is God given to America the Great)
- American Indian War (indians are savages, brutes, and merciless killing machines - we just happen to be more organized and "civilized" in our way of life)
- American War of Independence (we wanted to be independent because we own slaves, and they don't - those stupid British anglophiles!)

I think Carter declared his attempts to deal with the "energy crisis" the "moral equivalent of war."
Isn't political correctness a war on "offensive" speech? ...animal rights a war on speciesism? ...feminism a war on chauvinism? ...civil rights movement a war on racism? ...etc. ....etc.
Also, I'd amend "American Civil War (that is right, we shoot each other out of "respect" over the whole "slavery" business)" to also include: "American War between the States (attempt to safeguard state rights against an overly powerful federal government)" (Just b/c the South lost we shouldn't forget their perspective.)
Reality: People are greedy and angry so just about any excuse can be used to justify taking things from those that we dislike.
@littleprofessor - Yeah, you are right, I forgot to add them.I was in a rush, but yeah, kudos for you for reminding me of those one's as well...it is just that there has been so many wars recently, it is easy to lose track...lol
Thanks
